Join Us!

We welcome new cadets beginning in September of each year. Our Squadron is located at Don Montgomery Community Recreation Centre, 2467 Eglinton Ave East, Toronto, ON (See Locations). If you wish to contact us, please e-mail us at 631air@cadets.gc.ca or by phone at 416-266-4891.

In-Person training nights are on Wednesday evenings, between 6:30 PM – 9:30 PM, from September to June of each year. If needed, virtual training will also be conducted on Wednesday nights.

The application process to join can now be completed entirely online. Please click on the link here and follow the steps below: https://www.canada.ca/en/department-national-defence/services/cadets-junior-canadian-rangers/cadets/join-us/online-registration-tool.html

  1. After reading the steps, please hit “Register Now!” at the bottom of the page.
  2. You will be re-directed to another page. Under “Unit Name”, please enter: 631, you should see a drop-down appear as “631 SENTINEL, ROYAL CANADIAN AIR CADET SQUADRON”, please click on the full name.
  3. Enter your email address and hit submit.
  4. You will receive an email with a link to start the application where you will enter your information.
  5. After you are finished entering your information, hit submit!

After we receive your application, we will review it and on the following Wednesday, you may come in to the unit during our hours (6:30pm-9:30pm) to review your documentation and verify the health card (listed below).

Mandatory Identification Documents to Bring:
Canadian Birth Certificate, or;
Canadian Passport, or;
Canadian Landed Immigrant Document, or;
Canadian Citizenship, and;
Valid Provincial Health Card
